Symbiosis Institute of Health Sciences, or SIHS, is a constituent of Symbiosis International University(SIU) Located in the Heart of Pune, India, at Senapati Bapat Road. SIU has been Accredited by NAAC with ‘A’ Grade. It is one of the pioneers in providing MBA in Hospital and Healthcare management course in India.Its first batch was inducted in 2007 and passed out in 2009 achieving even international placements.[1]

SIHS plans to come up with a "medicity" by 2015 which will be a 30-acre (120,000 m2) campus in Lavale comprising 500 bedded Medical college, Dental College, College of Nursing, College of Physiotherapy, and a College of Pharmacy. This will also include 100 bedded centre of excellence for minimal invasive surgery in collaboration with the prestigious Harvard University in the US to attract medical tourism.”[3]
